Welcome to A&R Red Angus. We raise Red Angus seedstock in Central Minnesota in a small town called Holdingford. We purchased our first Red Angus female in 2016 to start our seedstock herd.
Our goal is to raise the best Red Angus cattle we can, to offer to our customers. We use AI & ET substantially to improve our genetics at a fast pace! We strive to make functional cattle that will last the test of time to be profitable at the end of the day.
Besides raising Red Angus cattle for seedstock we also purchase feeder cattle from our bull customers.
We market this beef private treaty as ¼’s, ½’s, or whole shares and the rest gets sold at our local sales barn.
We also grow our own feed that consists of corn, alfalfa, upland grass, meadow hay and cover crops.
